St Ives Photoshoot & Engagement Guidelines & Terms
Thank you for choosing St Ives Lodge & Venue for your photoshoot or engagement session. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful experience for all, kindly take note of the following guidelines:
Booking & Fees
Cost: R1,500 for a maximum duration of 2 hours.
Booking & Payment: All photoshoots and engagement sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
Picnics & Braais: These are not included with the session and must be booked separately.
Group Size & Conduct
4. Attendance: The total number of people attending must be disclosed at the time of booking. A maximum of 6 people is allowed per booking.
5. Parking: No parking on the grass is permitted. Please use designated parking areas and walk to your chosen shoot location.
6. Noise Levels: No loud music may be played during the session.
7. Wildlife: Do not feed, approach, or antagonise any animals. They are wild and this is their home, please respect their space.
Décor & Clean-Up
8. Décor Use: Any décor brought in must be completely removed after the session. This includes props, signage, tape, and any other materials.
9. Permitted Materials: Only natural flower petals (such as real rose petals) may be used. No confetti, plastic petals, glitter, or synthetic materials are permitted.
10. Clean-Up: The area must be left exactly as it was found. Any décor remnants or litter left behind may incur a cleaning fee.
Restricted Areas
11. Lodge Area: Photos may be taken around the dam and outdoor estate, but the lodge and accommodation areas are private and reserved exclusively for overnight guests.
12. Events: Please avoid all areas where weddings or private functions are taking place.
General Estate Rules
13. Speed Limit: The maximum speed limit is 20 km/h. The estate is home to free-range children, animals, and cyclists.
14. Littering: No littering is permitted in or around the dam.
15. Pets: No pets of any kind are allowed on the estate.
Indemnity & Safety Notice
• Liability: St Ives does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, or for personal injury.
• Right of Admission: St Ives reserves the right to ask any individual or group to leave the premises if found vandalising, antagonising wildlife, or disrupting the peace of the estate.
• Dam Safety: Children must be supervised at all times near the dam. Swimming is strictly prohibited as there is no lifeguard on duty. St Ives will not be held liable for any injuries or drowning incidents.
By booking a photoshoot or engagement session at St Ives Lodge & Venue, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these guidelines and terms.
